A 50-metre roll provides strip material. It does not necessarily include hangers, plates, a rail, fasteners or cutting. A complete kit may include these items, but the listing must say so.
Match the environment
Specify the operating temperature and traffic. Standard clear, ribbed and low-temperature grades should be compared against the supplier’s specifications. Freezer service needs a product rated for that use.
Specify the opening
Provide the clear width and height, mounting location and existing hardware if replacing strips. Overlap changes how much material is required. Ask the supplier to calculate the layout instead of treating opening area as the required PVC quantity.
Compare the delivered job
Check roll length, strip width, thickness, GST, hardware and freight. Heavy rolls can erase an apparent saving when delivery is omitted.
